Demo data policy

Four local inputs. No collection.

The illustrative estimator runs entirely in the browser. It does not submit, store, transmit, or reuse the values entered on the page.

Data flow

What happens from input to illustration

  1. You adjust four broad values

Monthly electricity cost, usable roof area, estimated daytime-use share, and a battery comparison toggle.

  2. Your browser calculates locally

A small deterministic script applies the published synthetic model and updates the figures on the same page.

  3. Nothing is sent or retained

There is no server submission, database, analytics tool, tracker, cookie, local storage, or contact workflow.

Privacy by scope

The demo never asks who or where you are

No name, email address, telephone number, property address, account identifier, or free-text message is requested. Refreshing or leaving the page resets the illustration to its approved defaults.

Synthetic model

Transparent enough to inspect

The calculator annualises the monthly bill, applies a bounded roof factor, combines it with daytime use, and adds a smaller fixed battery adjustment when selected. Every output is rounded to the nearest €10.

It is intentionally simple and produces the same result for the same inputs.

Deliberately excluded

  • location-specific solar irradiation and shading
  • equipment efficiency, condition, price, and installation cost
  • electricity tariffs, export payments, and future price changes
  • battery degradation, financing, payback, and electric-vehicle demand

See it in context

Try the illustration, then trace the synthetic scenario

Both routes repeat their limitations beside the figures so the data boundary stays visible where it matters.
