What the simplified calculation leaves out

  • Current annual cost is the monthly input multiplied by 12 and rounded to the nearest €10.
  • Roof area and daytime-use percentage feed a synthetic reduction rule; they are not generation or engineering calculations.
  • The battery toggle selects a simplified comparison and does not represent capacity, efficiency, degradation, or backup operation.
  • Location, orientation, shading, equipment, tariffs, export, installation cost, and property suitability are not modelled.
